Hey guy's I know it has been about 3 years since I have posted but a lot has changed. I recently became a mom for the second time, returned to working full time right after the baby. Recently I went back to working part time and I'm back at getting my reviews back in order. Well any ways for Christmas my mother in law gave the family a Instant Pot! I've heard a lot about it and for a family of 4 it is great to make meals while cleaning, taking care of the kids, and doing other things while I'm not having to slave over the kitchen! It real time saver!! Well I recently contacted to check out a recipe book called
Honestly I am not into the type "Vegan" but recently I have been trying to get my family to start eating healthy. Now I haven't tried a lot of the recipes to give you an idea of how versatile this recipe book is, I was able to make Maple Pumpkin Spice Latte (which I switched up the recipe to accommodate with the ingredients that I had on hand) Red, Gold, Black, and Green Chili, and Chocolate Pudding Cake!
The first one I made I needed to break out my favorite cup! "If Loving Pumpkin Spice Is Wrong I don't Want To Be Right"
Pretty Interesting never thought of making a latte in InstantPot before, but it is great for making a large quantity. It also tasted great. I followed most of the directions except the milk I used almond milk, so it may have changed the flavor a bit to what it should have tasted, but I love that nutty taste. I would give this 5 stars out of 5 just because it had to do with pumpkin spice and it was delicious and comforting!
The next recipe I tried was the Red, Gold, Black, and Green Chili. This recipe was very easy and very wholesome. I enjoyed sharing it with my family who found it very tasty.
But once you slice it and place it on a plate, it is a nice moist cake, that tastes absolutely amazing! The next recipe I tried was the Red, Gold, Black, and Green Chili. This recipe was very easy and very wholesome. I enjoyed sharing it with my family who found it very tasty.
Last but not least the Chocolate Pudding Cake!!
This one was really tricky. I first used the blank setting but decided to adjust it to go faster and used poradge setting. Just to warn you this may not be a pretty sight, but the taste was amazing!!
I found this absolutely amazing that I was able to create these items within about 4 hours using this cookbook.
